Description Though the actual origin of this armor is unknown, it is obvious why the orcish pirate Captain Dustdyn claimed it as his own. Not only is it made of lightweight mithral, but the joints of this armor have been fitted in a novel way that allows for a flexibility and freedom of movement unparallelled in most plate armors. An important consideration when trying to move about on the deck of a ship, to be sure. Captain Dustdyn seems to have 'improved' this armor further with his own personal touch, adorning it with skulls and other threatening motifs.
Material Mithral
Durability 104
Weight 25.00 lbs
Effects
  • +3 Enhancement Bonus: This item has been magically enhanced. Armor with this quality gains a +3 enhancement bonus to AC. Weapons with this quality gain a +3 enhancement bonus to attack and damage.
  • Mithral: Mithral is a very rare, silvery, glistening metal that is lighter than iron but just as hard. When worked like steel, it becomes a wonderful material from which to create armor and is occasionally used for other items as well. Most mithral armors are one category lighter than normal for purposes of movement and other limitations. Heavy armors made of mithral are treated as medium armor. Spell failure chances for armors and shields made from mithral are decreased by 10%, maximum Dexterity bonus is increased by 2, and armor check penalties are lessened by 3.
  • Feat: Mobility: While equipped, this item grants the feat Mobility.
  • Intimidate +5: Passive: +5 Competence Bonus to the Intimidate skill.
